Barbra R. Lesh, MD — Psychiatrist

Dr. Barbra Lesh is board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with extensive experience in psychiatric consultations and pharmacotherapy management and is licensed to practice medicine in New York and New Jersey.


She earned her medical degree at the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical honor society, in recognition of the highest academic achievement. In addition, Dr. Lesh received the AMWA Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation for graduating among the top five women in her medical school class.


Dr. Lesh completed her psychiatry training at Yale New Haven Hospital, the primary teaching hospital of Yale School of Medicine, where she served as Chief Resident of the Psychiatric Emergency Service, Chief Resident for Neuropsychiatry, and Program-wide Chief Resident.


Dr. Lesh previously served as Medical Director of the Buffalo Center for the Treatment of Eating Disorders and the Narins Eating Disorder Center.


Dr. Lesh offers psychiatric consultations, treatment planning, and medication management, always striving to provide personalized care based on each patient’s unique needs, helping them on their mental health journey.


Carrie Feroleto, PA-C — Physician Assistant

Carrie Feroleto, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a longstanding passion for psychiatry. 


She graduated summa cum laude from the University at Buffalo in 2013, where she was awarded the Chancellor’s Award for highest academic achievement in psychology, recognizing her leadership and extensive involvement in psychiatric research, including the completion and defense of an honors thesis.


She later led Dr. Ralph Benedict’s neuropsychiatric research team at the former Jacobs Neurological Institute, where her work focused on neuropsychiatric assessment of patients with chronic neurological disorders. This experience deepened her understanding of the connections between the brain, behavior, and overall health. 


A summa cum laude graduate of D’Youville College’s Physician Assistant program, Carrie spent her first five years as a PA working in primary care, treating a wide range of mental health conditions. 


She brings a warm, patient-centered, and holistic approach to care, striving to make every patient feel heard, supported, and confident in their journey toward improved mental wellness.


Dara Faden, PA-C, LMSW — Physician Assistant

Dara Faden is a board-certified Physician Assistant and Social Worker. 


She has spent the last 12 years practicing as a Physician Assistant primarily in Family Medicine, specializing in treating mental health. Most recently, she has been working in Psychiatry, incorporating her therapeutic skills. As part of Sterling Psychiatry, she offers initial consultations, medication management, and psychotherapy.  Although Dara treats a wide array of issues, she specializes in treating OCD and anxiety disorders.

 

Dara holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester with high honors in Psychology and is a Phi Beta Kappa scholar. She has a master's degree in physician assistant studies from The George Washington University, a Doctor of Health Sciences from Nova Southeastern University, and a master's degree in social work from Simmons University.


Dara takes a holistic approach to patient care. She strongly believes in a client-centered approach and builds strong relationships with her clients.  In her spare time, Dara enjoys traveling the globe and exploring nature with her husband and two Goldendoodles.
